Serving Merrillville, IN

Designed to take up to five people for thrilling off-road trips, the 2020 Jeep Renegade and Jeep Compass offer efficient engines and robust 4×4 drive systems. Offering impressive articulation and reliable traction, both compact SUVs earn the Trail Rated badge once again.

Displacing only 1.3 L, the 2020 Renegade’s turbocharged engine whips out 177 horsepower. This direct-injected, I-4 powertrain spits out 210 pound-feet of torque. Showing off the MultiAir badge, the 2.4 L I-4 engine carries the recognizable Tigershark DNA. Drawing gasoline through natural aspiration, this patented propulsion system yields up to 180 hp and 175 lb-ft. Earning a 2,000-pound towing rating, the updated Tigershark engine is standard under the hood of the 2020 Compass. Both compact Jeep SUVs offer the trademark Selec-Terrain Traction Management technology, which controls five different driving modes. Optimized for traversing off-road trails, this exclusive function is paired with a 4×4 drive system that carries the Active Drive Low label. This best-in-class driveline system includes the Hill Descent Control for safe movement on steep slopes. Manufactured by the legendary Aisin company, a six-speed automatic transmission is optional in the Compass. A nine-speed auto transmission drives the sporty Renegade model.

The 2020 Renegade comes in bright paint options, such as Omaha Orange and Colorado Red. Some dazzling paint colors that are available for the 2020 Compass include Redline Pearl and Spitfire Orange. Both compact Jeep SUVs have a signature front grille with seven slots and mesh patterns. Featuring the patented My Sky design, the Renegade’s removable sunroof gives new meanings to enjoying the outdoors during a road trip. A dual-pane panoramic sunroof is also optional for this versatile Jeep model and the Compass trim. McKinley leather and Washington cloth are some upholstery options for the Renegade. The Compass is available with premium cloth, vinyl, and leather. This trim also offers the Light Diesel accent stitching for the seats that are covered in the Black and Cattle Tan texture. Automatic headlamps and halogen headlights are optional for both Trail Rated vehicles. These compact SUVs also offer cornering fog lamps that enhance your visibility on curved paths.

The most advanced infotainment system that’s available in the 2020 Renegade and Compass has the Uconnect 4C NAV technology. Having an 8.4-inch display, this infotainment console retains several smartphone-optimized features from the previous years, such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Recognizing voice commands, Amazon Alexa is an all-new technology that’s compatible with the Renegade’s multimedia platform. This Jeep SUV also has the all-new Family Drive Alerts through the Uconnect suite. Both Trail Rated models support various remote services, including the Send & Go and Remote Vehicle Start. Bluetooth and 4G LTE WiFi are other key highlights of the Uconnect 4C NAV system. Each Jeep offers over 70 standard and optional safety technologies, including the LaneSense and ParkSense functions. The Renegade’s all-new Exit Assist technology makes it easy to pull out of a tight parking space.
